Lentra AI is a cloud-native digital lending platform (Series B) that powers end-to-end lending journeys for leading banks and NBFCs across India, processing high-volume loan applications with AI-driven decisioning.

Key Contributions

  • Developed and maintained enterprise-grade backend applications for a cloud-native digital lending platform used by banks and NBFCs.
  • Designed and implemented scalable REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and MongoDB to support high-volume lending workflows.
  • Built and enhanced the Business Rules Engine (BRE) for configurable loan eligibility, scoring, and decisioning.
  • Implemented API observability by integrating Kafka, Prometheus, and Grafana to monitor request lifecycle, latency, failures, and system health.

I'm Rahul.
Builder by default.

I started my journey as a curious kid who wondered how websites worked. That curiosity grew into a passion for building things — not just writing code, but creating products that solve real problems.

Today I'm a Software Engineer at Lentra AI, where I build enterprise backend systems powering digital lending for Indian banks and NBFCs. I work with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and a whole lot of distributed systems complexity.

Outside of work, I build my own products — from instaFlowAI (Instagram automation SaaS) to audio streaming platforms. I believe the best engineers are also product thinkers.

And then there's the creator side of me — I share my building journey, dev learnings, and life on Instagram @rahul.tells.
